Our Catholic identity is something that we are very proud to share.  Families of all faiths are welcome to school as we practice our Catholic and Christian values every day.

Daily Prayer and Weekly Mass

Mass Fridays and Holy Days at  8:15 a.m.

The celebration of our school liturgy is central to our community at Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi Catholic School.  Every Friday during the school year, Mass is celebrated at 8:15 a.m. in our parish sanctuary. We welcome parents, grandparents, friends, neighbors and guests to celebrate with us. Each homeroom has opportunities throughout the school year to prepare and assist with our mass celebrations.

Daily Prayer

Daily prayer is an integral part of our school day. Every morning, we begin our day with prayer, reflection, and special intentions. Christ and Gospel Values are integrated into our instruction and all other aspects of our day. Our students are taught that God is with us always, no only during prayer. We conclude every school day with afternoon prayer and closing reflection.

Faith in Action

Faith in Action (FIA)

Faith in Action (FIA) integrates community service projects with classroom instruction to enrich the learning experience, teach children the importance of civic responsibility, and help strengthen our greater community. Some of our FIA projects benefit our community while some focus on global and international philanthropy.

Our school family focuses on the Corporal Works of Mercy when planning the FIA days. The Corporal Works of Mercy come to us from Matthew 25:34-40 and focus on feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and imprisoned, and burying the dead.

The students at Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi Catholic School find joy by helping others. It is in giving that they feel rewarded.

Catholic Identity

First and foremost, we are a Catholic School!

Catholic Identity

How is our Catholic faith shared on a daily basis? We start each school day with prayer as a way to prepare for the day. During lunch, time is spent thanking God for the bounty and blessings we have received. We end each day again with prayer as a time for reflection. In addition, our teachers and staff consistently integrate the Gospel values and God's message into all lessons and subjects. Our faith is woven into every aspect of our curriculum.

At Saints Francis & Clare of
Assisi Catholic School, you will see our faith alive every day.

Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi Catholic School closely coordinates with our parish Religious Education and Youth Ministry programs to meet the instructional preparation guidelines recommended by the Roman Catholic Church.

The sacraments of the Catholic Church are cornerstones to our faith.
Students receive preparation for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist during the school day in 2nd grade. In addition, they join with students in our parish Religious Education program for two evening retreats and for First Communion in the spring.

Students are eligible for Confirmation preparation in 8th grade. This instructional preparation is done with our parish Youth Ministry program on Sunday mornings. The year culminates with the Confirmation Mass in the spring.

Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi Catholic School coordinates with our parish Religious Education and Youth Ministry programs for families seeking the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation for their children outside of the time frames listed above.
