Emergency Assistance

The Emergency Assistance Outreach Ministry responds to calls received, typically on our Emergency Helpline, for assistance with basic needs or other emergent needs, such as utilities and food. We generally limit our assistance to those in the Johnson County area. We also partner with other community organizations to assess the need and provide appropriate assistance, when possible, with not only the short term financial need, but also the long term needs that will help people get back on their feet. Volunteers rotate monitoring the Emergency Helpline throughout the year.

Can We Help?

If you know someone in need of assistance, he/she can call the parish office at (317)859-4673 then leave a message with the Outreach Help Line (extension 126). These messages are checked several times a day by one of our Outreach volunteers and requests are screened and fulfilled on a case by case basis.
